In 2008 Scottish Government established the Scottish Futures Trust as a centre of infrastructure expertise where it works with its many public and private sector partners on creating innovative solutions to improve the economic, social and environmental outcomes from Scotland’s infrastructure.

We are utilising our infrastructure expertise by supporting Transport Scotland in the management and delivery of the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Fund.  In addition, we are providing targeted support to local authorities to identify their future investment needs and new approaches to expanding Scotland’s public charging network at scale and pace which can mobilise private sector capital.
