The GREENFLEET NET ZER0 ROADSHOW events are designed to bring everything you need to implement a clean fleet strategy, to one venue, on one day.

AGENDA - PHASE 1

DOORS OPEN 09.30: Upon arrival, you will be greeted by GREENFLEET staff. Depending on the current COVID situation, and the guidelines that may be in place, you may be asked to show your vaccination status and/or a negative test result.

If it is your intention to participate in test drives, then you will be asked to present your DVLA Driver’s Licence and sign a disclaimer form. You will then be issued with a wristband, notifying the manufacturers present that you have been checked and are good to drive.

You will also be issued with a coloured lanyard and personalised Agenda, of the same colour. This is your assigned group for the day. Details of what to do and when will be issued by the GREENFLEET Ambassador at the end of the morning seminar session.

You will be shown through to the main suite where you can help yourself to breakfast, a refreshment and network with the experts we have lined up for you.

AGENDA - PHASE 3

12.00: The Group Sessions begin. At the beginning of the day, you will have been assigned a group, indicative of the coloured lanyard and agenda handed to you, upon arrival. At Midday, your ‘Group Chaperone’ will gather-up their groups and deliver them to their first Zone, for Session 1. After 45 minutes, the Chaperones reappear, gather their groups up and 5 minutes later, they’re delivered to the next Zone. After a lunch break, there will be a 3rd and final session, with the event closing at 15.30… In plenty of time to beat the rush-hour traffic!

15.20 – 15.30: The Wrap-Up. After a day packed with networking, engagement, test drives and knowledge-sharing, we finish with a drink and prize draw, where all remaining delegates have a chance of winning a nice little prize to take home with them. And as stated, the event closes at 15.30, all in good time to beat the afternoon rush-hour, so no need to leave early!

Alex Colquhoun

Alex Colquhoun is the Group Manager (Fleet Maintenance and Repair) for Glasgow City Council (GCC). He supports the council’s Glasgow Climate Plan and Carbon Management Plan through the roll out of its EV infrastructure. .

Graham Robinson

Graham Robinson is responsible for the SSE vehicle fleet’s commitment to the EV 100 Climate Group, and to transition SSE plc fleet to 100% alternative fuels by 2030. Graham has worked within the automotive industry for over 20 years. In 2018 he moved to Mitie as their Fleet Improvement Manager. Graham was dedicated in accelerating their transition to electric vehicles for the Mitie Fleet.

Dr Darren Handley

Dr Darren Handley has been with the UK Department for Transport for transport for over 10 years. He currently runs the infrastructure grants team in the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles which provides grants for homes and workplaces to get electric vehicle chargepoints. He started in the Department working in transport security. Then, at the start of 2016, he changed role to help the Department push forward its agenda on cyber security in the field of connected and automated vehicles.

Andy Robinson

In his role as Head of Fleets, Infrastructure and Low Carbon Consumers at Transport Scotland, Andy is responsible for developing Scotland’s strategic approach to EV infrastructure and fleet decarbonisation and managing investment programmes supporting the delivery of Scottish Ministers climate change ambitions in these areas.

Alastair Young

Alastair is an infrastructure programme delivery specialist working with Transport Scotland and local authorities to accelerate delivery of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across Scotland as well as exploring ways to mobile private sector capital to support infrastructure delivery in this sector.

Kate Armitage

Kate specialises in Electric Vehicles, Recharging Infrastructure and Energy Retailing and was the first recipient of the GREENFLEET EV Champion Award in 2014. Kate has been involved in a range of ground-breaking projects including the design and technical specification of the recharging infrastructure for the London 2012 Olympic Electric Vehicle Fleet.  She has worked closely with OEMs, Infrastructure providers and Energy Companies across Europe.
